DESCRIPTION

HGA-100 is a High conversion Glucoamylase made submerged fermentation and extraction processes of selected strains of Aspergillus niger. HGA-100 can catalyze the release of glucose units from the non-reducing ends of soluble dextrins by hydrolyzing both linear (1,4-alpha-D) and branch (1,6-alpha -D) glucosidic linkages.

 

HGA-100 does not contain Glucosidase, thus enables its high conversion rate from starch to sugar.

 

EFFECT OF PH AND TEMPERATURE ON ACTIVITY

 

pH Temperature

 

  For maximum activity, the optimal pH

  for HGA-100 is from 4.0 to 4.5.

  Effective temperature range is 40 to 65°C

  optimum temperature is 58 to 62°C.

  Inactivation may achieve quickly at temperature above 65°C.

  HGA-100 can be inactivated completely at 70°C

DOSAGE RECOMMENDATION

Typical dosage of HGA-100 is at a level of 0.4 to 0.8kg/TDS. The exact dosage depends on the actual processing conditions such as raw materials, temperature, reaction time, pH and the desired results of the individual plant.

 

PACKAGING, STORAGE AND SHELF-LIFE
HGA-100 is packaged in 25kg,30kg food-grade HDPE plastic drums or 1125 kg IBC totes. Customized packaging is available upon request.

Typical shelf-life of HGA-100 is six months if this product is stored below 25°C in its original packaging, sealed and unopened, protected from the sunlight. 

The shelf-life of HGA-100 is eighteen months provided this product is stored properly at 0∼10°C.

Prolonged storage and/or adverse conditions such as higher temperatures may lead to a higher dosage requirement and should be avoided.

 

SAFETY & ENZYME HANDLING
Inhalation of enzyme dust and mists should be avoided. In case of contact with skin or eyes, promptly rinse with water for at least 15 minutes. For detailed handling information, please refer to the Safety Data Sheet.
