Product Description
High Concentration Liquid form Glucoamylase for Saccharification
Product Name:Glucoamylsae SUPERMEI FD
Halal and Kosher Certified
SUPERMEI FD is applied to saccharification of starch materials in the production of alcohol and brewing.
Description
SUPERMEI FD (EC 3.2.1.3, 1,4-alpha-D-glucan glucohydrolase ) is a high concentration food grade glucoamylase produced from selected strains of Aspergillus niger through submerged fermentation, extraction and refining processes.
The conversion of SUPERMEI FD from starch substrate to fermentable sugar is very high. It can degrade the α-Dmurl and 4 glycosidic bonds at the non-reducing end of starch one after another. It can also hydrolyze the α-Dmurine 6-glucoside branch bond of starch and cleave the α-1 domain 3 bond to release glucose.
SUPERMEI FD has strong glycosylated amylase activity. The use of SUPERMEI FD can provide higher alcohol production, faster fermentation rate and lower starch residue.
For ground grain processing plants that use simultaneous saccharification fermentation (SSF), SUPERMEI FD can be added directly to the fermentor. For dry mills that grind grains and wet mills that use separate pre-saccharification steps before fermentation, SUPERMEI FD can be added to the cooling slurry or liquefied starch when the temperature reaches 55 to 60 °C. the temperature above 65 °C leads to loss of activity.
