DESCRIPTION

HA-580FG is a food-grade thermostable α-amylase extracted from Bacillus licheniformis by submerged fermentation and purification.
It is a kind of internal amylase, which can randomly hydrolyze starch, glycogen and their degradation products on α-Dmurl 4-glucoside bond into soluble dextrin and oligosaccharides, thus rapidly reducing the viscosity of colloidal starch solution.
HA-580FG is a high concentration formula designed for alcohol production and brewing.

USAGE GUIDELINES

First adjust pH to 5.0-5.9, and then add HA-580FG.
After adding the enzyme, the slurry was heated and liquefied at a temperature range of 83 to 86 degrees Celsius for 90 to 150 minutes.
The final DE value should be kept in the range of 10 to 12.
The amount of HA-580FG depends on the actual processing conditions, such as starch type, substrate concentration, treatment time, temperature, pH and so on.
In order to optimize the dosage, it is recommended to carry out several liquefaction tests before routine use of the product.
The appropriate dose rate is 0.08 ~ 0.1 kg/tds.

 

PACKAGING, SHELF-LIFE AND STORAGE

HA-580FG is packed in 25kg or 30kg food grade HDPE plastic buckets or 1125 kg IBC suitcases.
If required, the packaging can be customized.
HA-580FG is developed to achieve optimal stability.
If it is stored in the original package below 25 °C, sealed and not opened, and protected from sunlight, the usual shelf life is 6 months.
If it is properly stored at 0 ~ 10 °C, the shelf life is 18 months.
Unfavorable conditions such as prolonged storage and / or high temperatures may lead to higher dose requirements and should therefore be avoided.

 

SAFETY & ENZYME HANDLING

Avoid inhaling enzyme dust and fog.If you come into contact with skin or eyes, rinse immediately with clean water for at least 15 minutes.Refer to the material Safety data sheet for detailed processing information.
